Taramundi
A chapter-by-chapter novel from Asturias
Our origin
Ever wondered where we come from? Why we spend our days causing mischief in supermarkets, hair salons and anywhere humans gather? Well, here's the answer: this is our origin story, the one that tells how it all started in a tiny Asturian village called Taramundi.
It all began when Axel, a rather curious human, arrived in that green corner of northern Spain. That's where he first discovered us, among ancient forests and secrets that had been waiting centuries to be found. And from that moment, nothing was ever the same for either of us.

A Whiff of Fiesta
An empty square, a song and a van full of scaffolding in the morning
The Pavement
A whole house out on the street and a pot that wouldn’t fit in the rucksack

One Hundred and Seventy-Nine
It rained three days running and they counted the photos one by one
The Soppy One
Somebody was crying in a pelota court and it was not because of the storm
The Other Conversation

Ancient mysteries
Chapter by chapter you'll discover who we really are, where we come from and what drives us as guardians of everyday joy. This isn't just any story: there are ancient secrets, unexpected paths and magical moments that explain why we do what we do today.
Taramundi isn't just a dot on the map. It's where everything clicked, where magic stopped being legend and became something you can see, touch and feel. Each chapter brings you a little closer to understanding why we Magikitos exist and what moves us.
