Who we are

Magikitos is two things: an artisan workshop in Taramundi where Carmen makes the shop's creatures by hand, one by one, and a social network for good vibes where people record jokes and stories and bring the expressions of their land to the dictionary. These terms cover both.

By using the site, creating an account, publishing something or buying, you accept these terms. They are the basic rules so everything flows naturally and everyone is happy. No corporate fuss, just common sense and good vibes.

Unique and personalised products

All our Magikitos are handcrafted figurines, made one by one, with no moulds or mass production. Each one has its own personality, its own expression, its own vibe. The photos on the site are for reference. Your Magikito will be similar, but with its own unique touch.

Like snowflakes or tree bark patterns, no two Magikitos are the same. And that's precisely what makes them beautiful. Prices are in euros and include VAT. What you see is what you pay, no surprises or fine print.

Purchase and payment process

Payments go through Stripe, which is super secure and reliable. We accept credit and debit cards. Your order is automatically confirmed once the payment goes through without issues.

You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details. If you have any questions or just fancy a chat about your order, reply directly to that email. There's always someone on the other end listening.

Shipping

Shipping is always included in the price you see. No cost is added at the end: the price on the listing is exactly what you pay, wherever your Magikito is headed. No last-minute surprises.

Delivery usually takes 1 to 7 working days from when we confirm your order. We'll send you an email with shipping details and tracking, so you know exactly where your Magikito is on its journey to you.

If there's any trouble with the shipping, write to us and we'll sort it out together. We want your Magikito to arrive safe, sound and full of good vibes at your door.

Returns and exchanges

You have 14 calendar days from receiving your Magikito to return it if it doesn't convince you or if there's a problem. No worries, these things happen. We want you to be happy with your purchase, not feel stuck.

The conditions: the Magikito must come back new, unused and in its original condition. Return shipping is on you, and the return is your responsibility until it reaches us: use a tracked service and keep the receipt, because if it gets lost on the way we can't cover it. That said, we don't charge any restocking fee, not a cent extra for processing the return.

Once we receive the return and verify everything is in order, we'll refund you within a maximum of 14 days, via the same payment method you used. No fuss, no excuses.

How to request a return?

It's dead simple. First, write to us at [email protected] with your order number and tell us what happened. We'll confirm the return address and the steps to follow.

Then, pack the Magikito carefully (in its original packaging if possible) and send it to us. Don't forget to include the order number inside the parcel. And share the tracking number so we can keep an eye on it.

If you'd rather exchange your Magikito for another, let us know before sending it. Exchanges work just like returns, except we send you a new magical companion instead of a refund.

Website use and good vibes

You can browse and poke around here as much as you like. What we write (the site's texts, the workshop photos, the Taramundi stories) is ours, made with a lot of love and time; what the community brings (jokes, stories, voices, expressions) belongs to whoever brought it. If you like something and want to share it, we love that! But mention us, link to the site and respect the person who recorded it.

Don't copy our content to make a fortune or use it as if it were yours. That's not cool at all. We operate on transparency and mutual respect here. You treat us well, we treat you well. Simple as that.

Your personal data is safe with us. We only use it to manage your order and chat with you when you write. No selling or sharing with anyone. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.

The community: your account and what you bring

You don't need a password or a sign-up to take part: when you bring something we draw a Magikito name and handle for you, and you can claim that identity with your email whenever you like. Your name, your handle, what you contribute and your setines are public.

What you bring stays yours. By publishing it you give us permission to show it on Magikitos under your name, transcribe it, translate it, illustrate it, include it in our podcast and in the rankings, and to let other people listen to it and share it. You can ask us to take it down whenever you want and we do it within seven days.

The rules are few: real voices of your own (nothing generated with artificial intelligence, nothing copied from others), respect (nothing offensive, nothing that attacks anyone) and good faith. What doesn't fit, we remove, and an account that does it on purpose or repeatedly may be shut out. Setines are reputation: they are not money, cannot be redeemed for anything and cannot be transferred. Private messages are between people: you can block anyone, and using them for spam or harassment is grounds for losing the account.

Liability (and common sense)

We take no responsibility if you have an uncontrollable fit of laughter because of us, or if you suddenly start hiding your mates' socks. These are the side effects of hanging out with Magikitos, and we put no warning on the package.

This website is a place to have fun and connect. Although we look after it with care, we're not liable for unforeseen technical issues that may arise. Technology is like that, sometimes it gets a bit silly.

Every now and then we change things or update these terms. The date of the last review is at the bottom of this page, and if a change is one that matters we tell you inside your account. By continuing to use the site after a change, we take it that you agree.
