Grub

Scran

"I’m absolutely hanging, la. Let’s grab some scran before the match, even if it’s just a cheesy chips from the chippy."

Butty

"Grab us a chip butty from the chippy, extra salt and vinegar, and a cuppa. I'm hanging, and the match kicks off in ten."

Cuppa

"You’ve had a right mare at work. Get your coat off, I’ll stick the kettle on and we’ll sort it with a cuppa and a biscuit."

Brew

"Stick the kettle on, I’m gasping for a brew. Had to listen to Gaz chatting waffle all shift. Make it strong, two sugars, cheers."

Brew up

"Hang on, love, I’m not hearing this till I’ve brewed up. Two sugars, splash of milk. Right then, who’s been gobbing off in the group chat?"
