What it means
Glizzy is a hot dog, but said with extra internet sauce on it. It’s the goofy, hypey way to talk about a plain old frank when the whole joke is treating it like a legendary meal. You’ll hear it at cookouts, online, or whenever someone’s absolutely housing hot dogs and wants to make the moment sound ten times louder than it is.

Where it comes from
Glizzy started in Washington, DC slang as a word for a Glock. Later, online and especially around 2020, people pushed it onto hot dogs because of the shape and the meme energy around somebody demolishing one in a bite or two. That food meaning blew up hard and became the one most people know now.
