"Aura Points is basically similar to Aura, you know, the more Aura you have or something you do that has Aura, the more Aura Points you get. When you do something that doesn't have Aura, for example, let's say, tripping and stumbling in front of like the entire school or entire, you know, university or sort of your crush, for example, you lose Aura Points. Like you lose Aura in general and you also lose Aura Points. When you do something pretty cool, you know, you gain Aura Points and then overall gain Aura. An example would be, oh my god, man, I can't believe you talked that cop out of giving us a fine. You gained so many Aura Points today."

What it means

An imaginary scoreboard for how cool or smooth you are in any given moment. Catch a falling glass without looking, plus a thousand aura points. Trip over flat ground in front of your crush, minus ten thousand. It is the running joke of scoring real life like a video game stat.

Usage examples

"He parallel parked first try with everyone watching, massive aura points."
"I waved back at someone who was waving at the person behind me, minus all my aura points."
"You dropped your phone, caught it with your foot, then kept walking like nothing happened. Unreal aura points."
"Spilling your drink all over yourself before the party even starts is negative aura points, I'm afraid."

Got something to say?

Edit, fix or tell us something. We review it and, if it is true, you will see it applied with your name on it.

Where it comes from

Borrowed from the idea of aura as someone's vibe, scored like video game points. Pulling something off gains aura, an embarrassing moment loses it.
