Street voices
"Heavy on the blank. It's basically used when you know you're emphasizing something, you're heavy on it, making a point, whatnot. An example would be, okay girl, I see you got face wash, toner, moisturizers, sunscreen, all these serums, you are heavy on the self-care."
What it means
Used to crank the emphasis all the way up on whatever comes after it. You drop it before a word or phrase to say yep, that's the vibe, that's the pattern, that's exactly what they're on. It usually sounds hyped, approving, and a little extra on purpose.
Usage examples
"New planner, gym bag, vitamins, sleep mask, candles, you are heavy on the reset this semester and honestly we respect it."
"She bought matching containers, labelled every shelf, and made a cleaning rota. She's heavy on the organised life right now."
"You brought snacks, backup chargers, tissues, and a playlist for the trip. Oh you're heavy on the preparedness."
