Bruh is that one-syllable sigh you drop when something's so dumb, annoying, or painfully disappointing that a whole sentence feels like wasted breath. It's half reaction, half verbal facepalm.

Where it comes from
Bruh grew out of African American Vernacular English as a variant of bro and spread online and in spoken slang until it became its own reaction word. Instead of meaning a friend, it started doing the heavy lifting for disbelief, disappointment, or fed-up deadpan.
