"Go fuck yourself. A very aggressive way to disregard someone or to tell them to go away. Look man, I just don't think you should be in a relationship with her, okay? Ah, go fuck yourself. What do you know about relationships anyway?"

What it means

A full-force, no-cushion insult used to tell someone to get lost, shut up, or stop pushing their luck. It's way harsher than a basic fuck off and usually means patience has fully left the building. Between very close friends it can turn jokey, but outside that lane it hits nasty and direct.

Usage examples

"You dumped her, borrowed money, then asked for a favour? Man, go fuck yourself. You must be outta your damn mind."
"I asked him nicely three times to stop, so in the end I just told him to go fuck himself."
"She read the rude comment, typed go fuck yourself, and logged off for the day."
"You really came back asking for another ride after last night? Go fuck yourself."
"He tried to blame me for his own mess, so I told him to go fuck himself and walked out."

Where it comes from

It's built from the older insult fuck yourself, which has been around in English since at least the early 20th century. The go on the front turns it into a direct send-off, basically telling someone to take themselves away and do it. By the late 1900s, go fuck yourself was firmly established as a hard, angry brush-off.
