What it means
Roaching is when someone’s dating multiple people at once, keeps the extras tucked out of sight, then hides behind we never said we were exclusive once it blows up. The name’s grim on purpose. You spot one cockroach and instantly know there’s a whole cursed little squad lurking behind the wall. Same vibe here. One person finds out they were never the only one, and the whole thing feels sneaky, slippery, and foul.
Usage examples
"He was roaching the whole time, turns out there were three others he never mentioned."
"Roaching and then acting like we were never exclusive, what a way to dodge the blame."
"She found out he was roaching when two other girls popped up in his comments acting way too familiar."
"Don’t try that roaching nonsense with me, if you’re seeing bare people just say that with your chest."

Where it comes from
The term comes from cockroaches. In dating slang, the image is that if you’ve spotted one, there are probably more hidden where you can’t see them. That nasty metaphor got picked up online in the late 2010s to describe someone secretly juggling multiple partners while acting innocent about it.
