Your villain era is the phase where you stop people-pleasing and put yourself first without apology, setting hard boundaries and saying no like the so-called bad guy of your own story. It is really just self-respect rebranded as menace.

Where it comes from
Built from villain plus era, following the Gen Z habit of naming a personal phase as an era. It took off online in the early 2020s, especially on TikTok and X, where people joked that basic self-protection gets framed as evil, so they claimed the label and wore it like a little crown.
