"aura is basically when someone has like this really like cool energy but they're very like they don't like show it off they're just very chill they basically just have aura an example would be oh my god did you guys see David laid's new video he has so much aura"
What it means
Aura is the invisible cool-points score you rack up or lose by how impressive or how cringe your moves are. Nail something effortlessly and you gain aura, trip over in public and you lose a thousand aura.
Usage examples
"He caught the ball without looking, that is pure aura."
"I waved at someone who was not waving at me, minus a thousand aura."
"She said one sentence, fixed her sunglasses, and walked off. That's insane aura."
"Man tried to dap me up while I was tying my shoe. Negative aura for both of us."
Got something to say?
Edit, fix or tell us something. We review it and, if it is true, you will see it applied with your name on it.
Where it comes from
It comes from the regular word aura, meaning the vibe or energy somebody seems to give off. Online, especially in meme-heavy Gen Z spaces, it got turned into a jokey score system for coolness, composure, and presence. Do something slick, you gain aura. Eat it in public, your aura tanks.
