What it means
Cheating software that locks your aim onto targets automatically, the byword for inhuman, suspiciously perfect precision. Beyond games it is the joke accusation for anyone freakishly accurate: sinks every paper ball in the bin, you have got aimbot. Equal parts insult and grudging awe.

Where it comes from
It comes straight from gaming slang, built from aim plus bot. An aimbot is cheat software that snaps your crosshair onto targets for you. From there people started throwing it at real players, or anyone absurdly accurate, as a half-joking way to say nah, that precision can't be human.
