Where it comes from
It took off hard on TikTok and YouTube around 2021, where people posted routines titled that girl. The phrase became shorthand for an idealised version of young womanhood: early mornings, clean eating, journaling, workouts, tidy spaces, soft light and a life that looks beautifully under control online.
