What it means
An easy rider is that maddeningly chill person who just doesn't get rattled. Missed train, broken printer, full-on circus kicking off around them, and they're still breezing through it like the day owes them no stress. It's usually said with a bit of fond respect and a bit of you've-got-to-be-kidding-me energy. Feels a touch old-school, but people still say it.

Where it comes from
The phrase got a big cultural boost from the 1969 film Easy Rider, where it carried that loose, free-roaming, do-your-own-thing energy. After that, people stretched it beyond the biker vibe and started using it for anyone who moves through hassle with a weirdly steady, unbothered calm.
