Barbiecore is that all-in, candy-pink, dollhouse-glam look where subtlety gets politely kicked out the car. Think hot pink fits, glossy plastic-fantastic energy, big girly drama and a bit of camp sparkle. If someone looks like they got dressed inside Barbie's dream wardrobe, that's Barbiecore.

Where it comes from
The term took off online in the early 2020s, then properly blew up in 2023 with the Barbie film and its giant pink wave across fashion and pop culture. It's built from Barbie, the doll and brand, plus the fashion suffix core, used for named aesthetics and vibe-based looks.
