"Real quick often can be spelled RQ in a text. Literally it means to just get something, check something, or whatever, really quickly. An example would be, ayo, can you hit me up real quick?"

What it means

Means very quickly, in a super casual everyday way. You tack it onto a request when you want something done fast without making it sound deep or bossy. It shows up a lot in speech and texts, and online people sometimes shorten it to RQ when they're speed-typing through life.

Usage examples

"Ayo, send me the address real quick, my phone died, I borrowed this charger from a dude at the gas station and I am outside already."
"Yo, lemme borrow your charger real quick, my battery's on spiritual fumes."
"Can you check if the door's locked real quick before we leave?"
"Text me the code real quick, I'm at the door and this keypad's acting brand new."
"I'm gonna run inside real quick and grab my hoodie, don't peel off yet."
