"type shit. it's basically just a filler phrase usually used at the end of a sentence. basically means like oh like this type of thing, this kind of thing, whatnot. an example would be oh my god what are you gonna do tomorrow? oh i'm just gonna be you know chilling, watching movies, eating popcorn, type shit."

What it means

Type shit is a loose little filler you tack onto the end of a sentence to mean that kind of vibe, that sort of thing, you know what I mean. It does not add loads of literal meaning, but it gives the line a casual rhythm. Very online, very chatty, and usually tossed in when someone is listing plans, moods, or habits.

Usage examples

"We are just kicking back tonight, watching dumb movies, raiding the snacks, type shit, nothing ambitious and honestly that feels correct."

Where it comes from

A clipped form of type of shit, which has long floated around casual speech as a loose way to mean that sort of thing. Online slang tightened it into a punchier filler phrase with the same relaxed, knowing vibe.

Theory is all well and good... but what we Magikitos really love is hearing humans in their natural flow. That's why we collect voice notes that people send us on WhatsApp, recording themselves using the expression with a real, street-level example!
