It was a sunny morning in a garden of the community of Ribadeo, a green space surrounded by tall buildings where neighbors carefully cultivated flowers and vegetables.
However, the atmosphere was far from as cheerful as the flowers lining the paths. Don Ernesto, an older man known for his bad temper, walked among the plants grumbling. “Nothing grows well here, it’s always the same, broken leaves and dry stems!” he repeated as he examined the leaves with a disapproving gesture. The other gardeners, who used to enjoy the peace of the place, felt uncomfortable at his constant complaints.
Among the bushes, hidden in the shadows, a small magical being watched carefully. His name was Hojitas, a nature-loving Magikito, with a hat made of petals and a coat of leaves. His mission was simple but powerful: to bring joy and vitality back to the garden and to those who cared for it.
That morning, seeing Don Ernesto’s frustration, Hojitas decided to act. He slipped silently through the plants to the most neglected area of the garden, where the soil looked dry and lifeless. With a swift movement, he pulled from his small backpack a handful of magic seeds, shiny as candy. She tossed them gently to the ground and, with a snap of her tiny fingers, activated the spell.
The seeds sprouted immediately, transforming into an explosion of colorful and vibrant flowers that quickly spread, filling everything around them with life. The other gardeners, amazed, began to gather around this unexpected miracle.
Don Ernesto, seeing the sudden change, approached distrustfully. “What… what happened here?” he murmured as he touched one of the flowers, his hardened expression beginning to soften. Unable to help himself, a smile broke out on his face. “I’ve never seen anything like this before,” he admitted quietly.
The other gardeners surrounded him, sharing his amazement and joy. Before long, Don Ernesto, the man who had always criticized everything, was helping his neighbors, advising them on how to take better care of the plants and even laughing along with them.
From his hiding place among the branches, Hojitas watched the transformation with a satisfied smile. His work here was done. With the garden now full of life and the community more united than ever, Hojitas silently took his leave, ready to bring his magic to another corner in need.
