"A side quest is basically just doing a random activity, not scheduled, not really typical to do, it's just a side quest. It's kind of, you know, a reference. It comes from basically video games when you're on, like, a story video game, where you're on a certain path and there's a storyline you're following, and then there's just random side quests that they can ask you to do for more points and whatnot. It's pretty much optional. An example would be, say I'm just going to the orange farm to pick up some oranges, just, you know, random side quest."

It is a collection of good vibes told out loud. People do not come here to post weekend selfies, they come to leave something far more powerful: their own voice telling a joke, a story or that expression only their town says. You can grab a handmade Magikito if the idea grabs you, sure, but almost everything here is free and made by all of us together.
Not at all. Listening, reading, playing the Shroometer or nosing around the Slangtionary does not cost a penny. The shop is there in case you fancy taking a little creature home. It is simply a way for me to make a couple of quid, pay my taxes and fill the fridge now and then.
Of course. You record it straight from your browser, nothing to install: you put your voice in, add effects if you like and hit publish. We clean up the sound and, for stories, lay a little music underneath. It keeps your name on it so other people can enjoy it.
Easier than opening a yoghurt. You write the expression and tell us what it means in your own voice. A guardian Magikito checks it over and publishes it with your name on it. And if you spot a mistake on an entry somebody else made, you can ask the guardian Magikito to take another look.
Well, being the proper Magikitos we are, we measure everything in setines, which work both for measuring the absolutely relative magnitude of things and for reputation around here: you earn them by bringing stuff in and they show up on your profile. They are the sign that you have brought good vibes to the community.
They are made of cold porcelain and a lot of love. Inside there is a wire frame, recycled paper and wadding. Then they get dressed in scraps of fabric I collect as I go along, and I add all sorts of little bits and pieces I pick up here and there.
Each Magikito takes several days in the workshop, decent materials and human hands that get it wrong, do it again and put everything they have into making something lovely. It is not a factory figurine. The price is what makes it possible to pay for the materials, the taxes, the shipping and to keep the whole thing going.
Between 3 and 10 days. The little parcel gets packed with care once you order it and goes off to the courier as soon as possible. Sometimes it moves faster and sometimes slower, but you can always track it to see how it is doing.
