Guardians of everyday joy

The words they only say where you're from, the jokes you grew up with, the stories from before bedtime. Small doses of magic that disappear if nobody looks after them.

We Magikitos keep them safe.

How every Magikito is born

Carmen shapes every figure by hand in her Taramundi workshop. Several days of work per piece, with little touches from the forest: twigs, moss and leaves.

Questions we get a lot

What you ask the Magikitos most often on WhatsApp and by email.

Is this a shop or what exactly?

It's a lot more than a shop. We're a whole world of Brownies, Fairies and magical creatures, with stories, jokes, games and a street dictionary. You can adopt a handmade Magikito, yes, but almost everything here is for you to enjoy without paying a penny.

Do I have to buy anything to enjoy the site?

Not at all. Listening to stories and jokes, reading the blog, playing the Shroometer or browsing the dictionary doesn't cost a thing. The shop is there in case you fancy taking a creature home, but joining in and having a laugh is free.

Can I send you a joke or a story?

Of course. You record them in the Studio straight from your browser, nothing to install: your voice, plus effects and a melody if you fancy, and once you publish it keeps your name on it. Every audio on the site is from real people, never machine-generated.

Where do I start reading the Taramundi story?

In the Taramundi section you'll find the online book, chapter by chapter: where we come from, how we reached the forest and everything that happened along the way. It reads like an illustrated adventure, at your own pace.

What are the Sparks?

They're the 12 energies (love, calm, fortune, adventure and the rest) that, combined, shape the personality of every Magikito. They say it's not you who chooses the Magikito, but the Magikito who chooses you, recognising the sparks you need.

What are the Magikitos made of?

The Brownies are cold porcelain, the Fairies pure sheep's wool and the Animagikitos carded wool. All handmade by Carmen in her workshop in Taramundi, with little touches from the forest like twigs, moss and leaves.

Why do they cost what they cost?

Every Magikito takes several days in the workshop, honest materials and human hands that make mistakes, retry, repaint and sign. It's not a factory figurine. The price reflects the real time inside it, not an inflated tag.

How long does it take for my Magikito to arrive?

Between 3 and 7 working days within Spain. Each Magikito is lovingly prepared when you adopt it, carefully wrapped and sent off on the journey to your home. Shipping is included in the price, with no surprises in the cart.

What if the Magikito arrives broken?

You write to us and we sort it out. If it arrives damaged in transit, we send you a replacement or refund you, whichever you prefer. Ceramic is fragile and sometimes delivery folks have a rough day.

Can I order a custom Magikito?

We don't take custom orders right now. Every Magikito is born the way Carmen imagines it and then finds whoever adopts it. If none of them quite resonates with you, swing by again in a few days and new ones will appear.
