Murmuring Brook Sleepyhead
This 22 cm little gnome (hat not included) yawns like he’s opening portals.
At the edge of the woods, where the mist makes it feel like the forest is breathing, lives a tiny, sleepy gnome in full sweet-baby mode… but with a quiet, mischievous spark. He’s 22 cm from feet to head (not counting the hat), and his colorful cap always ends up a little crooked, like he put it on half-asleep. His pale-blue sleeves look ridiculously good on him, and if you catch him awake, he gives you that “five more minutes” face—which is basically his religion.
He prefers sleeping to the murmur of brook water, because he says that’s where dreams don’t run—they float. When the night feels a bit weird, he finds a mossy corner, presses an ear to it, and lets himself be lulled as if the water were whispering secrets about philosopher alley cats.
- He gets hypnotized by clouds, trying to guess which one will yawn first.
- He stores naps in imaginary pockets, just in case the day gets heavy.
- He greets the park statues, convinced they’re sleepy too.
If one day your body feels all soft and your hurry drops to the floor, don’t stress: he’s probably passed nearby, leaving handcrafted calm hanging in the air.
