The fluffy protectors of the forest
The Animagikitos are forest creatures the Magikitos once breathed magic into, and ever since they have stopped behaving like ordinary animals. Carmen cards them in natural wool, fibre by fibre, until each one looks the way it wants to look. There are bees that only work on Mondays, wolves that howl at the moon in silence, and tortoises that always arrive exactly when they are needed. Each one guards a secret corner of the forest in their own style, and if you take one home, that corner moves in with you.
