Born on a rainy night, she now lights up friendships softly, like someone telling a secret to the glass.
Part of the collection Glass Jar Lamps
This little lamp began as a glass jar forgotten in an old stone house, the kind that creaks as if keeping hundred-year naps. That night it was pouring and the little friendship fairies came in looking for shelter, soaked and laughing, because running through a couple of drops has always seemed like a pretty weak human comedy to us. Between dust, shadow, and the smell of wet earth, the jar appeared, still, waiting for its second turn around the world.
We took it to Taramundi and wiped off the tiredness without erasing its past. The glass kept that transparency with memory, the kind that doesn't shine to show off but because it has seen things. We dressed its lid with a little branch and lichens picked from the forest, small elegant wild ones, and inside we left two little fairy friends cut out in luminous silence.
- rescued glass with attic soul
- little branch and lichens with forest still clinging
- two silhouettes that seem to talk without making a sound
Now, when night falls, it doesn't light up harshly. It does something better. It releases a warm calm, like a chipped cup and a well-placed blanket, and turns any corner into a lovely hideaway to rest your heart for a while.
