It was a summer afternoon on a train packed with travellers. The carriages, usually a calm, routine sort of in-between place, were buzzing with tension thanks to one seriously grumpy passenger. Jorge, famous for his foul mood, was firing complaints into the air, louder than the chatter around him. "This train is always packed! People should just ride bikes!" he snapped.

"The mayor should buy bigger trains, add more carriages, and put on more times!" He just wouldn’t stop, and the whole carriage started to feel heavy, like the bad vibes had taken a seat too.

Tucked away on one of the seats, hidden by his tiny size and a bit of magical camouflage, was Chispitas, a playful Magikito in a hand-knitted hat and a jacket covered in colourful patches. This little magical creature is always tuned in to human feelings, and he could feel it. Something had to soften the air.

As the train rattled on, Chispitas slid over to Jorge as quietly as a whisper. He pulled a small pouch from his own jacket. With a quick, discreet flick, he let loose a shimmering dust that drifted through the carriage, mixing with the breeze coming in from the open windows.

The change was almost instant. The magic dust, once it reached everyone’s noses, started doing its thing. Jorge took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, the frown was gone. He looked around like he was seeing people for the first time, and a shy little smile showed up on his face.

"You know? Maybe travelling with company isn’t that bad," he said to the person next to him. They stared back, half amazed, half relieved. "By the way, where are you from? How’s your day been?" And just like that, the conversation spread through the carriage like a warm wave. Soon there were laughs and easy chats filling the space where the complaining used to live.

Chispitas, pleased with the makeover, watched from his hiding spot as the mood on the train lifted. The magic had landed, and as the train kept going, harmony slipped back into place.

At the next station, Jorge stood up with fresh energy and, on his way out, offered his seat to a new passenger with a bright, "Have a good trip!" Chispitas saw his job was done and got ready for the next adventure. He knew it. Every tiny bit of magic leaves the world a little better.
