We Magikitos are born when someone takes a happy shit in the woods. The figures you see here are our handmade likenesses: cold porcelain, fabric and lots of little details that give us a face. This is how those figures are made.
What fits on a workbench
Faces, hands and other details are shaped in cold porcelain. Inside, wire, recycled paper and wadding can support the body. Clothes come from fabric scraps. A crooked hat, a twig or a little moss places the character in its woodland world.
Hands first, patience next
The body takes shape gradually. The face is modelled, the posture adjusted and the porcelain left to dry. Then come paint, clothes and accessories. Each step changes something: a raised eyebrow can turn a peaceful brownie into one that seems to be judging your decisions.

No moulds, no identical twins
The figures are shaped one by one. Differences in a nose, a hand or the way a hat falls become part of the character. That's why each page shows photos of that particular figure, with its details, name and story.
The figures are not for sale. Meet them in our brownies collection and read our beginnings in the Magikitos story. Here we make things for pleasure and share them for the joy of someone stopping to look.
